My cosplay of Taranza that I debuted yesterday at MCM Comic Con London's October 2014 Sunday Show.
The handful of people I talked to at the con, mostly exhibitors, liked my costume and a few people were curious enough to ask me who I was cosplaying as. Unfortunately, no one recognised who I was cosplaying as and I didn't see any other people cosplaying as Kirby characters. Amusingly though, a few people thought I was cosplaying as a character from Homestuck due to my horns and one guy thought I was an "evil snowman". XD
The "wig" (Taranza's hair and horns) was made via papier macheing over a balloon for the hair and adding cardboard horns wrapped in masking tape for padding that were also papier mached before the "wig" was painted. Inside the "wig", I added a harness tailored to my head so the wig wouldn't slip about. Taranza's body is a modified shirt with the red and white parts sewn on. Taranza's cloak (or jacket in this case) is a heavily modified dressing gown with the strips of fabric attached via hemming webs. Taranza's gloves are washing-up gloves that I turned inside-out and painted. The scarf is an actual scarf.
I'm going to make adjustments to the cloak.

Hey!!! I saw you at the mcm just past there and holy heckkk, seeing someone cosplay from kirby made my entire weekend!!!!!!! Super cool job. (I was the one who asked for a photo after you were in the line for the cash machine ? ahah)
